Our product roadmap for 2026. We are continuously improving AI ShipMate based on feedback from customs brokers, freight forwarders, and e-commerce sellers.
AI ShipMate is now available to everyone with text-based HS code classification.
Key Features
Upload product images for AI-powered classification. Our vision AI will analyse images to identify products and suggest accurate HS codes.
Key Features
Process hundreds of products at once. Upload spreadsheets or CSV files with product descriptions and receive bulk HS code classifications.
Key Features
Upload Bill of Lading PDFs or images and automatically extract product data to Excel format, then classify all items with HS codes.
Key Features
Every feature on this roadmap comes from real problems we have seen customs brokers, freight forwarders, and e-commerce sellers face.
Half of our users have better product photos than product descriptions. A seller might have 500 SKUs with basic titles like blue bag large but professional photos showing every detail. Image AI lets us classify from what you already have.
We are training our model on product images paired with verified HS codes. The goal is 85%+ accuracy from images alone, with text description improving results further.
E-commerce sellers do not ship one product. They ship hundreds or thousands of different SKUs. Doing lookups one at a time does not scale. Bulk processing means upload a spreadsheet, get classifications back.
We are building this to handle catalogues up to 10,000 products at once, with progress tracking and downloadable results you can import directly into your shipping software.
Freight forwarders receive Bills of Lading as PDFs. Customs brokers get commercial invoices as scanned images. The product data is trapped in those documents. Our converter extracts it to Excel and classifies everything in one step.
We have already built the table extraction technology for another project. Now we are integrating it with HS classification. One upload, complete documentation ready.
We are building in order of impact. Text classification is live because most users can get results today with what they have. Images come next because they are the second most common input format.
Bulk processing follows because it multiplies the value for power users. Document conversion is last because it requires the most infrastructure but serves the most specialised use case.
Once the core features are solid, we are looking at these next:
API for Developers
Plug HS classification into your own systems. Shopify apps, WMS integrations, custom e-commerce platforms.
More Countries
EU Combined Nomenclature, UK Trade Tariff, Japan, Canada. Same AI, localised to each country's tariff schedule.
Tariff Alerts
When duty rates change for products you ship, you will know before it affects your margins.
