1. Agreement to Terms
By using AI ShipMate, you agree to these Terms of Service. AI ShipMate is operated by CodeBridge, a company registered in Victoria, Australia. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Service Description
AI ShipMate provides AI-assisted Harmonized System (HS) code classification services. Our service is designed to:
- Help identify potential HS codes for products based on descriptions you provide
- Provide confidence scores to indicate classification reliability
- Offer guidance on when to seek additional verification
- Store your lookup history for reference
3. Important Limitations
Classification results are for guidance only
AI ShipMate provides AI-generated suggestions. Results should not be treated as definitive customs classifications. You should:
- Verify classifications with your customs broker or relevant customs authority
- Check official tariff schedules for your country
- Consider seeking binding rulings for high-value or recurring shipments
- Review results carefully, especially when confidence scores are below 85%
We do not guarantee the accuracy of any classification. Incorrect HS codes can result in delays, penalties, or additional duties. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable customs laws and regulations.
4. Account Terms
When you create an account:
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our service
- You may not share your account with others
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
5. Usage and Lookups
Lookup credits are provided based on your subscription or purchase. Free accounts receive 5 lookups. Additional lookups can be purchased. Unused lookups do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated.
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems to access our service without permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models
- Share or resell lookup results commercially without agreement
- Submit false or misleading product descriptions
6. Payment Terms
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise indicated. Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused lookups within 14 days of purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual Property
AI ShipMate, including its design, features, and content, is owned by CodeBridge. You retain ownership of the product descriptions you submit. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your descriptions to provide classification results and improve our service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:
- We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any customs penalties, delays, or additional duties
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Service Availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
